About

Oliver Maneski

I am Oliver Maneski, Director and Head Coach of G.F.A.

As a teenager I started playing professional football at the age of 16, I played professional football in Macedonia First Division. It was very challenging and thoroughly enjoyed every moment, which shaped the ground rules for the way
I approach the game. I arrived in Perth February 1993 and played in the First Division and Premier League.
At the age of 23, I was forced with a both knees operation which almost
ended my carrer in football. But I was determined to continue. This is where my coaching career commenced.
I work with philosophy and in an enviroment that allows me to maintain current coaching techniques and any new developments that may transpire. With my training/coaching, my belief to personal development is to navigate and keep the core values of the Academy. This, I believe, will assist and direct the student to keep a positive attitudeand help him/her engage in their career of passion.
European football has certainly shaped the world football. I guess this is the piece that I want to see transpire here in Australia.
As Australia increases in the development of football, it is this particular dynamic which i would personally like to be a part of and share the experience that i have obtained, together with playing in Europe and here in Australia.
